Welcome back

Helping hands would like to welcome everyone back to the start of a new school year, look out for our termly newsletters which will have future events in. The next event is our Halloween disco, look out for the letter coming from school on coloured paper.

Lightwater Valley

During the six weeks holidays the PTA and families enjoyed a day out at Lightwater Valley. A great day was had by all and can't wait to extend the invitation to the whole school next year.

Lottery Bonus Ball

Congratulations to the first winner of the weekly bonus ball, who is Mrs L Loan who has two year 3 children. The amount won was £35!

Introduction

We have recently put together a school PTA (parents and teachers association) called "Helping Hands at Roman Road Primary".
It has a mixture of parents and staff who get together and organise events and fundraising events.

We have recently had a Halloween disco, Christmas Disco and more recently a fun day. The members are Mrs B Lacey, Miss E Allen, Miss G Ternent, Mrs C Stirrup,Miss L Parkin, Mrs W Robson, Miss D Black, Miss M Pattison, Mrs L Parker, Mrs C Hope, Mr J Bradshaw, Mrs P Mcgillan-Agar, Mrs H Sanderson, Miss J Smailes and Miss L Johnson.
