As part of our 50th Anniversary Celebrations, Mrs McKeown wanted a mural on the school site. It was to be placed on the side of the boiler house. Last year, Miss Allen asked a few talented artists to design the mural.
This week, they were invited back to use special paints to create the mural. It will be placed on the wall shortly!

The amazing Summer 2009 Musical is now available to buy on DVD for a bargain price of £5!! If you would like to purchase a copy, ask Mrs Redhead at Reception or Miss Allen in the Y2 classroom.

The Year 5 and 6 children put in loads of time and energy to make this a fantastic musical. Many people said it was 'better than going to the theatre'! Our children can match the talent of those on the stages of London! I can't wait for this year's musical...

Miss Stubbs and Mrs Pigott would like to welcome back the weather club.
We will be meeting every Thursday lunch time at 12.30 in the ICT suite. We will be starting off by analysing data that was collected over the holidays and comparing this with other schools around the world. Plus each week the children will be preparing a weekly weather report that will be read out in our celebration assembly on a Friday and uploaded to our website.

Cowboy hats at the ready!!! Children in Years 2, 3 and 4 have just started the line dancing after school club, run by Mrs Phillips and Miss Ternent. We are very busy learning the dances in preparation for the Gateshead line dancing festival, held in June. Children have successfully learnt the first dance called "The cowboy strut". One down three to go!!!
