Year 5 and 6 children are continuing to take part in a lunchtime Animation club that is ran by Mr Bradshaw.
They use the digi-blue camera to take lots of photographs of a scene after it has been slightly adjusted. All the photos are then put together to make a short film.
Some of the year 5 children are getting ready to represent the school in the annual competition at Heworth CLC.

Four children from year 5 took part in a heat of the Animation competition at Heworth Grange CLC.
After working fantastically well as a team, they were unlucky not to progress to the final after losing out by only one point !!
Their Animation had over three hundred frames and totalled a massive 14 megabytes in file size. Lots of hard work at lunchtime has gone into practising for the competition and this showed in how they worked as a team.
Well done to the four.

Some of our Year 5 pupils have worked really hard over the last few weeks in preparation for an animation competition.
This will be held at Heworth Grange Comprehension School on March 19th 2009. They have worked closely with our Year 6 pupils who made it through to the finals last year. Keep up the hard work I know you will do really well. Miss Stubbs and Mr Bradshaw
