We would like to invite you to watch our end of year production, Sleeping Beauty. It will be performed in the junior hall on Wednesday July 6th and Thursday July 7th at 6pm.

Tickets cost just £1 for children who attend Roman Road, and £2 for all other children and adults. Tickets are available in school from Mrs Lawson or Mrs Pigott.
The children and staff have worked very hard, showing great dedication by practising after school, and also coming into school on weekends and holidays. I am sure that the performance will be amazing, so don't miss out. Tickets are selling fast!

Following our amazing dance performance for the rest of the school, the children were very disappointed that their families had not had the opportunity to watch them. I would therefore like to invite all parents, carers, grans, grandads, aunties etc to come to a special performance of our dances on Wednesday 10th November at 9:20am in the Key Stage 2 Hall.
The children worked incredibly hard on their dances and would be delighted if you could make it!

We had a gift for all of the parents. We made a French painting (inspired by Claude Monet) and a bookmark. We also gave the parents a taste of France - a crepe (pancake) and cakes with home-made french flags.
All of them enjoyed our gift and the assembly went really well.
After the success of the assembly, we all said goodbye to parents and they congratulated us!

The Year 2 performed their fabulous Year 2 French assembly last Thursday. It was super and all the parents enjoyed it.
The children were fantastic and remembered all their lines. The audience heard every word! Miss Allen thought it was so wonderful the children all received a prize afterwards! Even Mrs McKeown said she had learned new things about France! Well Done for all your hard work Year 2!

We would like to invite all year 2 parents and guardians to come to our class assembly about France! It will be superb!
Our assembly will be in the Infant Hall at 9.15 am next Thursday (4th March).
Tomorrow, Miss Allen is going to start practising the assembly. We will be bringing some lines home to learn. Please help us to learn our words so we can speak them loudly, slowly and clearly!
Looking forward to seeing you next Thursday!

The amazing Summer 2009 Musical is now available to buy on DVD for a bargain price of £5!! If you would like to purchase a copy, ask Mrs Redhead at Reception or Miss Allen in the Y2 classroom.

The Year 5 and 6 children put in loads of time and energy to make this a fantastic musical. Many people said it was 'better than going to the theatre'! Our children can match the talent of those on the stages of London! I can't wait for this year's musical...
Please make a comment on the website to say what you enjoyed about Oliver!
