As part of the England theme the children in Mrs Dykes class were given the challenge to produce a castle to display at the English Showcase.
Our first task was to mark on the sheets of card where the battlements would be and then to cut them out. We then chose which colour we wanted our castle to be and painted all the pieces of card.

When the paint was dry we were able to draw arrow slits and stick on arched windows and doors.
Finally the pieces needed to be joined together to complete our castles. We were pleased with the end result and we had achieved the challenge.
