Year 4 Complete London Project

A huge well done to year 4 for completing our England project on London.
Over the fortnight, lots of different types of research have been carried out using various sources and fieldwork.

From this, we were able to build an excellent model with a working model railway around it. (The locomotive is now in the depot for maintenance after the amount of miles it did at the showcase!!!!) Some fantastic land use maps were drawn and the information used to write letters to persuade others about the theme park scheme. I can see that lots of you will be expert Geographers when you reach Comprehensive school!

Added to this we had a large of amount of children who stayed in school overnight to gain an understanding of what it is like to be homeless. We've even got some brilliant clog dancers in the class as well !!!!

I would just like to say I really enjoyed doing this project. I mostly enjoyed our trip to South Sheilds such as the rollocoster ride I got to draw. I really liked when I played mini golf.

Well done to all the children in Y4 for completing this brilliant project on London. The models were excellent and I can honestly say they were very like the actual places in London - i know, as I travel there with work every couple of weeks. Ellen now wants me to take her on the train to London so that she can take some photos and bring them back for Mr Allsop! Her interest has been sparked and i cant see her letting me get out of this one!
