Special visitor to Assembly.

Last week we had a visit from an injured Newcastle fan. She had fallen and hurt her leg on the way to the match, but not one of the Newcastle fans would stop to help her.

The only person willing to come to her assistance was a Sunderland fan called Mr Allstop, would you believe?
Of course our visitor was really Mrs McKeown, who was sharing a modern day version of the story of The Good Samaritan.

The football twist to the story really captured the children's attention, and they were astounded that the only person willing to help was a "mackem". It put the story in perspective for them, and put smiles on a lot of faces.

What a marvellous way to tell this tale! Mrs McKeown really suits the Newcastle top!
