Tudor Christmas

The children in Year 5 and Mrs Phillps' class went on a visit to St Mary's Visitor Centre and Bessie Surtee's House.

The children had the opportunity to visit and look around a Tudor House.

They compared rich Tudor clothes and played some Tudor games.

They talked about what King Henry V111 ate for Christmas dinner.
The children learnt a Tudor Christmas dance and song and made a pomander.

I really enjoyed going out of school to learn about the Tudor times.
