After the huge amount of snow we had last week. Year One took the opportunity to get outside and take some photographs.
We learned which parts of the camera to use to zoom in and out and how to snap the best shot. It was also important to take a picture of something interesting. We hope you like the results - we think they are amazing!!!

The snow photos taken by Y1 are lovely - i especially like the frozen drain pipes one! I havent seen anything like that before! I think we might have the next David Bailey in our school or did Mrs Inkster help out?

I am so proud of Year 1 and yes they are their own photos. They chose what they wanted to take the photo of and they captured the image. I think we were quite lucky to catch the sun looking so beautiful. You're right - David Bailey watch out! Mr Allsop has suggested we try entering some for a photography competition, so watch this space!

I loved taking photos in the snow. I had lots of good ideas and Mrs Inkster said I could be an expert.
