Jonah the Moaner!

P1010017.JPG
Year 2 have been learning about the story of Jonah in the bible. Rather than doing what God told him to do, he moaned, was swallowed by a big fish and spent 3 days in it's belly. Look at our Fab paper sculptures to depict the stormy sea into which Jonah was thrown.

We learned how to cut, rip, fold, twirl and roll the paper in creative ways.
We also learned that Christians should always do what God says because He knows best and has our best interests at heart. He had a plan for Jonah, who did not do as he was told! Our retelling of the jonah stories are brilliant. We used lots of WoW words and included loads of detail. come and read them on display!
