As part of our 'Wildlife Protectors' theme, we wrapped up and went on a trip to Thornley Woods to learn how wildlife is protected in Gateshead. The children loved going into the hide, where they had to be very quiet and got the opportunity to see a variety of birds and squirrels feeding! We learned lots of fantastic information and enjoyed an orienteering challenge on the afternoon.
