« INSET DAY - Friday 22nd October 2010 | Main | Year 5 Music Week challenge achieved. »
During this special week based around music, year 4 have focussed on the 'Water Music' by the composer Handel.
The children have found out that the piece of music was written for King George I. It was first heard on the 17th July 1717. A special concert was held on the River Thames in London. The King listened to the music from a barge on the river. It was played by an orchestra who were also on a barge.
Year 4 have used the ICT to digitally record their feelings to the music.
