Can you help us?

The Year 5 classroom has been a hive of actvity this week.

As part of our Sustainable School topic, we have researched ways to increase the recycling done by our school. We have been making collection boxes for various items to be put around school and in the Reception area.

We are collecting old spectacles which are being sent by Vision Aid to people in India who do not have access to eye care. We are collecting used batteries and printer cartridges to recycle. We are collecting milkbottle tops which are to raise money for an electric wheelchair for a young disabled boy who lives in Newcastle. If you have any of these items please send them into school with your child, and they can put them in the collection boxes, which should be ready by next week.
We would be delighted if you could help us.

I've got loads of milk bottle tops as I drink lots of milk to give me healthy teeth and bones.
