Children from across the school took part in our annual Sports and Health week. What's more it isn't over yet. Due to the postponement of Sports Day last Tuesday, it will go on a little longer!!!

Over the week, children took part in various activities. The aim of the sports element was to try some sports that were new them.
Years 1 to 5 worked with Karate coaches, years 4 & 6 experienced rowing machines while all year groups including the nursery were able to tray sports such as hockey, tennis, golf, bowling, basketball and badminton amongst others. Hopefully some children will take up some of the sports.
Year 5 continued with their hula hooping whereas year 3 were trained in netball by a visiting coach.
Our visiting chef Nick, taught children from different classes how to cook healthily.
There were visits from the school nurse, Alan from Bike-It and also predestrian training.
To finish off the week some year 6 children planned an afternoon of coaching that they did with Reception.
The fantastic weather made a good week even better.
