Sportshall Champions
Outstanding performances by our Sportshall Athletic team saw Roman Road beat off the challenge of Wardley and The Drive to become Heworth Cluster Sportshall Athletics champions for 2010.
A team of eight year five boys and five year five girls together with two girls from year four worked extremely hard to become the top school in both the girls and the boys section.
Well done to all the team for being our first ever Sportshall champion team!!
Hopefully some of our team will qualify to represent the cluster in the Gateshead competition.

Go Year 5! Very proud of you, I am sure some of you will be able to repeat your fantastic efforts in the summer at the athletics festival. Well done to you all and fingers crossed for the cluster.
