Hieroglyphics
Did you know the Egyptians used pictures and symbols for their alphabet? We do!
We are transforming our cloakroom into Ancient Egypt and decided that our old name cards were no use in Egypt. So we chose a famous Egyptian, artefact or building and then added our name in hieroglyphics. Aren't they amazing!!!

I like how the Egyptians drew. I have a bird as a symbol in my name.

I have just tried the hieroglyphics on my name and it was amazing! The first letter of my my name (A) is actually the picture of a Vulture!
