Today we have been exploring how the Ancient Egyptians made pyramids. Unfortunately Mrs Inkster does not have the muscle to transport lots of stone into school so we relied on rough cut sugar cubes instead.
We found that if we built up each section of the pyramid using squares and then layered them on top of each other it made quite an effective sugar pyramid. Anyone for coffee???

It was great making the pyramid. I didn't know it was a square on the bottom I thought it was a triangle.
