Jack and the Beanstalk
In Year 2 we have been learning the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Miss Allen read it to us, then we said the story as a class, in groups and in pairs using actions to remind us of the main parts of the story. The ogre's wife had a face as ugly as a troll's doll. Miss Allen said our scary faces would keep her awake at night!! Argghhhh!
Afterwards, we created a story map on a beanstalk with memory joggers. This helped us to write our story. We have a beautiful classroom display of our work with a massive beanstalk!!
