Year 6 attended Heworth Grange CLC last week to develop robotic skills. As we are the reigning champions of the robotics competitions we were given an exclusive invitation to trial a new piece of equipment. The children had to use the robot, find codes and complete the challenge to avoid mass destruction! In addition to this we also learned about energy and had to present our findings to the class and answer challenging questions. We now know about tidal power, wind power and nuclear power!

My favourite part of that whole trip was using the robot to try and find the shapes, that were in a totally different room to me! I also used another robot to find letters for a secret code.
