Numeracy at Home

whack%20a%20mole.png

Here is a great site from ICT games, to help you or your child with their numeracy skills at home.

You will have great fun. Whack a Mole is a definite favourite, teaching children to count in steps of different sizes. Have a go - it's addictive.

If you have played a game, please leave us a comment and let us know if you enjoyed it and what you or your child has learned.

I like playing the shop game. I learned how to take away. It was fun and it said thank you for my change.

I liked playing Mucky Monsters. I learned they don't wash their hands and which monster had more or less germs.

I think Whack a Mole was good. I liked whacking the mole. I counted in tens.

The butterfly game was good fun. The butterflies followed me and made great sounds when I got it right.
