Eating Plants in Year 2

"What a strange thing to do" I hear you say! But yes...Year 2 have been eating leaves, roots, stems and flowers!!

As part of our science topic about plants, we have been eating them. We tried lettuce leaves, cauliflower, celery (stem) and carrot (root). Most of us loved them! We now have a garden centre in our classroom and we are taking part in a Jack and the Beanstalk challenge. Miss Allen has given us 2 magic beans and we are planting them for a competition. Whoever grows the highest beanshoot will win a prize. Whoever writes the best instructions about planting a bean will also win a prize. I winder who has the greenest fingers?
