GREAT GOBLETS

Today we have been making goblets, like those that would have been used in a castle.

We used air hardening clay. First we rolled and cut the clay. We shaped it into a bowl shape for the top. Then we made a stem for the goblet. Finally we added patterns to the clay. We can't wait to paint them when they are dry.

I really liked using the clay. It was hard and cold. Then we made it squishy. I made a goblet to drink with in the castle. When they dried they broke very easy.

I liked making the goblets because they were good fun.
