Mrs Lacey, our teaching assistant had been telling us all about her parakeet. She even convinced us it could sing the theme tune to Doctor Who!!!

Imagine our surprise when we came into school and found a parakeet in our classroom. He was beautiful. We spent some time trying to think of as many describing words as we could. Whilst we were talking Figo chatted away in the background. We are still waiting to find out about Doctor Who though, as he wasn't in the mood for singing. After half an hour Mr. Lacey came and collected him as he would have been very unsettled in a new environment.
