Year One have written some fantastic stories about the Three Little Pigs.
First we listened to Mrs Inkster tell the story using actions. Then we repated the story a few times with her, joining in all the actions. Next we split into talking partners and retold the story. Then we snowballed with another group and told the story again.
Using different actions for different connectives in the story, it helped to keep us on the right track.
In this picture we are doing the action for "Unfortunately, a wolf came creeping by.."
Finally we wrote our stories. They were magnificent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have been displayed in Key Stage One for all to see. If you would like a loook - just pop by and see them.

I was amazed at the children's writing. They worked so hard and wrote some terrific stories. I am so proud of you all.

I liked writing a story about the 3 Little Pigs. My favourite part is when the wolf falls in the boiling water over a blazing fire. This was a great day.

Year 1 have tried really hard with their stories. The two I read were excellent. I think we've got some future authors in our school !!!!!
