Punch and Judy Puppets

a%20stick%20puppet.JPG

We have made Punch and Judy stick puppets.

First we used some saws to cut a piece of dowelling. This left the edges really rough so we used a piece of sandpaper to smooth the edges.

Next we used a template of a body to keep the shape of our puppet.

After that we cut lots of different materials to make the puppets clothes.

Finally we played with them making our own puppet stories. It was great fun!

I liked making puppets. I used wool for Judy's hair.
