The children in the MSB have been making pizzas.
A dough was made and the children kneeded and shaped it for the base of their pizza. The children could then choose from a variety of toppings including cheese, pepperoni, peppers, onion and sweetcorn. The pizzas were then cooked in the oven. The children were able to taste the pizza and take the remaining part home to show what they had been doing. The children developed fine motor skills by cutting the onion and peppers and spreading the tomato puree and also grating the cheese. The children worked well together developing social skills.
