Year One were transported to Heworth on Wednesday where we were very excited to be participating in a Heworth Grange Cluster Multi-skills event. The children were competing against schools from The Drive, Bill Quay and White Mere.

Mrs Inkster and the children were all very excited and ready for all of the challenges that lay ahead. Each child was put into a team and participated in every activity. By the end of the morning we were exhausted.

Nervous tension filled the sports hall as we waited to find out where each team had been placed. Mrs Cairns team were a runner up team, Mrs Wilson's Team C were placed 2nd and Mrs Inkster's Team B came first. Roman Road got the top two spots going to prove we truly are the best year One in the world!
