X Factor Move Over!!!!

Christmas is fast approaching and at Roman Road we have a fantastic, exciting, incredible event coming to our school. Read on to find out more.

On December 2nd all of the children in Roman Raod will be participating in a huge singing event. Oh no, we're not, oh yes we are! But even better than that, we are making our own Christmas CD!!!!!!!

We will be recording a variety of Christmas songs and hymns that you will all know and love. We hope the project will be an enjoyable and rewarding experience for pupils and teachers. (Yes, even Mr. Allsop will have to join in and sing!) The whole school will be involved in the recording and will get to be stars for the day. A professional company will be coming into school to make all of the recordings and will then produce the CD's.

Children will also participate in a class project to design artwork for the front cover. The lucky winner will have their artwork produced by a professional graphics team and will feature on the front cover of the CD.

A letter will be coming out with children soon offerring you the chance to pre-order you CD's. Just think they will make fantastic Christmas presents for relatives as well as being a timeless keepsake. The cost of a CD will be £10.

So don't delay. Children get practising and parents get ready to be amazed.

I hope that the 2nd of December is a big success for the whole of the school singing all these songs and getting all of them recorded onto a c.d.
