In Year 2 we are learning about Hundreds, Tens and Units
Place value is all about reading, writing and adding numbers. We are beginning to understand that a number like 234 is made up out of 200 30 4.
Last week for homework, Miss Allen sent us a 100 square to complete and we have been playing games on the interactive whiteboard. We are really good at finding numbers quickly using a blank 100 square. This week, we will be learning how to add 9 really quickly. Do you know how to do it? (Here's a tip: Add 10 then take away 1)
