Mrs Miller visits Year One

Mrs%20Miller.JPG

Did you know Mrs Miller went to Roman Road Primary school when she was little? She visited Year One this week to talk to us all about her time at Roman Road primary school.

We have been learning all about schools in the past. We thought of three questions each we would ask Mrs Miller. We wrote them down and even used question marks. On Tuesday after lunch Mrs Miller came to visit.

We were all ready with our questions. She was very impressed with them. Some of the questions we asked were:
1 Did you ever get the cane?
2 Did you have a register?
3 What were your teachers called?
4 Did you use paper towels?
5 Did you write on chalk boards?
6 What did you play with?
7 Did you do Read Write Inc?
8 Did you do swimming lessons on the floor?
9 What did you wear?
10 What lessons did you like?

Mrs Miller answered all of our questions. Then she showed us some of the games she played at school. They were:

Lacky Bands

We are getting so good at knowing all about schools in the past and hopefully we will learn a little more about them in the Summer when we go on a school trip.
