Year 6 took up the opportunity to visit Heworth Grange Comprehensive School for the day to take advantage of the fantastic ICT facilities and expert staff on offer.
We spent the whole day in the City Learning Centre at Heworth Grange where we undertook fun activities using ICT. We used state of the art equipment to produce our own comics based on the adventures of 'Jonni Starr' in outer space. These were very successful and we anticipate the delivery of our comics from Heworth to share and display at Roman Road. We also used an internet trail to explore and learn about 'Earth in Space' and 'The Heart' to enhance our Science knowledge. We had great fun at the CLC and will definately return if the opportunity arrises again.
