Every day we are reading and writing with our partners and teaching sticks.

We start the day by learning a new phoneme - this is the sound made by a letter or group of letters.

We then move onto our speed sounds - this is practising reading every phoneme we have learnt so far at speed.

Then we work out the green words with our partner - these are the words that can be blended.

Red words follow - these are words that have grotty graphemes and can't be sounded out.

Next we read the book using a teaching stick to point to the words. We help each other lots.

Finally we concentrate on using the phonemes and our knowledge of the book to complete writing tasks.

All of our teachers are so impressed with our progress and we show our achievements with lots of celebrations. Some of our celebratios are King Kong, marshmallow clap, L'oreal, Elvis, lorry driver and many more. Why not ask for a demonstration we would love to show you and share our success?
