Phonic Fun!

rec%20phonics.JPG

In Reception, we are working through 'Read, Write Inc' phonic scheme. We think it's great and enjoy learning a new sound each day!

Some of us are beginning to blend the sounds we know to help us with reading and writing.

We play lots of sound games together. In this game we passed the party bag around the circle. When the music stopped we had to take out an object and put it in the hoop with the right initial sound in.

We have a puppet called Fred who lives in our classroom. He is a mouse and we help him to say sounds and words.

We are progressing really well and are very enthusiastic about our 'Phonic Fun!'. Look out for pictures of more games we play ...
