« Roman lady Visit | Main | Art Presentation »
The children in the Mainstream Support Base enjoyed a visit from a Roman lady.
On Monday 15th October the children enjoyed a visit from a Roman lady. She talked to the children about life in Roman times and dressed up two of the children in Roman costume. One of the children dressed up as a Roman soldier but the armour was very heavy. She demonstrated weaving and they enjoyed having a go! The children thoroughly enjoyed it and were very interested in the artifacts which they touched and handled.
