Gateshead Primary Schools Athletics Festival
23 children from years 4,5 & 6 took part in the Athletics Festival at Gateshead Stadium recently. Various different activities based around running, skipping, jumping and throwing kept the children busy.
As some of team were away at Whithaugh Park, others took their place and performed really well with a large number of semi final and final places being gained.
We won a gold medal in the year 3/4 skipping to cap a very good performance by both teams.
Above all, the behaviour was excellent as was our support from the parents. Well done everyone.

It was really fun at the atheletics festivel last year and I hope I get picked for this years athletics festival to so I am really excited for the athletics festival trials.
