ALADDIN - Year 6 Production
At present Year 6 are working hard towards their end of year performance. We are extremely lucky to have been chosen to present our musical at the local Arts College, Heworth Grange Comprehensive. Our school will be the first to perform Aladdin and we are all very excited -because Heworth have a real theatre. This will be the first time we will have access to lighting, pyrotechnics and extensive sound equipment.
Rehearsals take place at least four times a week and include dancing, singing and acting. Miss Allen and Mrs Inkster say that by the end of this production they will either be grey or running away to join the Royal Shakespeare Company.
The cast consists of mostly Year 6 pupils with the chorus being helped out by Year 5. It is set to be our most fantastic production EVER! The main characters include

Narrator 2 - Ryan Edgar

Narrator 5 - Danielle Parker
Razoul - James McRoy
Tickets will be on sale at Roman Road School Office from 1st June 2007. Performances are Wednesday 13th June and Thursday 14th June at 7pm.
Tickets cost £2 for adults and non-pupils,
£1 for pupils, children
Free - under 5
