This year in the Foundation Stage we have been learning boit Ourselves, the Seasons and Fairy Stories. We have had many cooking sessions this year lead by our parent helper Mrs Lacey. We have made (and eaten!) Gingerbread Men, Christmas Puddings and egg and cress sandwiches.
When we have been looking at 'Jack and the Beanstalk' we grew some cress and we are currently trying to grow our own beanstalk!
At Christmas we performed the production 'Manger Mouse'. We all sang really well and performed like angels!
We have welcomed lots of vistiors into our unit to enhance our learnng.
We have had a visit from a new baby! He was very sweet and his mummy told us all about how to look after a new baby.
Zoolab came to see us in October. They brought a rabbit, a tarantula, a snail, a snake and a cockroach. We were able to touch the animals and describe how they felt!
We welcomed another visit from the road safety lady- she keeps a check on us to make sure we have been safe and sensible!
We have also had a couple of visits from the music team helping us to learn all about dynamics.
We continue to work well in our learning enviroments. We have two classrooms and a big outdoor area. At the moment we are making lots of colourful resources to make the outside area bright and colourful!
