Year 2 have been doing lots of work about cats this term. We have a wall full of cat pictures which we looked at to give us lots of ideas for descriptions. We all drew sketches of cats, and then used oil crayons to produce cat pictures. We wrote descriptions of cats, trying to be as imaginative as we could. We all chose our favourite cat on the cat wall and typed our name to use as a label. We had to give our reasons for choosing our cat, and found out about fact and opinion. We let visitors to our classroom choose a cat as well. Why not pop in and see which is your favourite?
