Roman Road Primary School is hosting a bookweek 6th - 10th March. During this exciting week, we are having a bookfair in school where children and parents can purchase the latest books about all subjects. But we're not stopping there! The whole school is getting involved in a sponsored spell event in order to raise further funds for Roman Road. All children and staff are dressing up for a day as book characters and having a fun afternoon which will be organised by Year 6. A theatre company is visiting school to perform for all children. Many competitions will also happen during that week, including a story writing and handwriting competition. Children will join with other classes to partake in paired reading. This event will be exciting and will involve all children and staff as well as including parents.
